THE ALBUM
Cuba Vista Social Club : this Album is a tribute to the most legendary and famous Artists from Cuba. They represent a historic heritage and the lifestyle of the people and traditional music from Cuba. Through most of their popular music was known among the fans in the Latin countries. In the west, it was mostly forgotten, until it was rediscovered in 2004. Included in this collection are: Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Frerrer, Rúben González, Los Soneros De Cuba, José González, Habana All Stars, Daniel Miranda, Don Alberto Rodrigéz, Pedro Martinez, Sexteto Habana, Oscar Reguera, and Luis F. Carrillo. Performed by traditional musicians and producers from Havana, their performances highlights a unique crossover between Cuban lifestyle and their famous Latin music.

The Buena Vista Social Club was based in Cuba during the 1940s to early 1960s and started off as a members' only venue. Located in the over populated Marianao neighborhood, it acted as a social hub for musicians and performers, leading a program of artistic activities such as dances and musical happenings.
The Buenavista Social Club was a members-only club originally located in Buenavista (literally good view), a quarter in the current neighbourhood of Playa (before 1976 part of Marianao), one of the 15 municipalities in Cuba's capital, Havana.
